Training and education

To further our charitable mission we carry out training and educational activities to ensure patients get the best range of reliable support and information, wherever they seek it: 

Patient workshops - to allow anyone affected by stoma surgery to be more empowered and better understand their own condition

Training courses - for support group organisers, enabling them to better support people affected by stoma surgery

Medical masterclasses - a network of special interest events for nurses to broaden their knowledge in particular ostomy related subjects

Anatomical Aprons - a unique training aid for educating patients and staff about stoma surgery, as well as the digestive and urinary systems
